In Cabarrus County, we have several clubs from which to choose. **Needs** We are currently seeking adults who are willing to become fully vetted and trained 4-H volunteers to lead clubs. If interested, please contact Molly Kleman at 704-920-3310. 2024 Cabarrus County Calendar.
Members will learn what it means to be in 4-H, how to run a meeting, and take part in citizenship activities, all while “learning by doing”! Schedule: Scuppernong Sprouts Schedule. Club Leader: Lydia Swain. Ages: Cloverbuds: 5-7. Location/Time: Third Tuesday of the month; 4:00-5:00 p.m. @ Extension Office.
Members participate in state 4-H contests such as horse judging, horse bowl, hippology, and 4-H horse presentations. Members also have the opportunity to compete in district and state 4-H horse shows.
