31 paź 2019 · 1. clean and prep the area where the 3M tape is applied (rubbing alcohol, etc.), then 2. Make sure to get some 3M adhesion promoter (like these: https://www.amazon.com/3M-Adhesion-P...8W4W344VRQES3K) and apply it to where the 3M tape will stick.
I know there's an awesome video DIY already for the CF spoiler using adhesive tape, but I figured some of you would be interested in a Betalink guide. I wasn't originally planning on making this into a complete DIY--I just happened to take some pictures of the process, so please bare with me.

Installing the performance spoiler tomorrow. Trying to decide between beta link or 3m double sided tape. I know Bmw recommends the beta link but is the 3m tape strong enough? Is the beta link permanent? Thanks for the help _____

I went betalink, and it works well - straightforward if you follow the install advice on this forum. Can't comment on 3M, but I guess that BM proposes betalink for a reason...
