By ammo type, the average FPS loss per inch was: 24.6 (Win 147 FMJ), 22.8 (IMI 150 FMJ), 20.9 (Fed GMM 168gr), and 22.5 (Win 180PP).

23 mar 2023 · In a recent test of a Ruger SFAR .308 Win semi-auto rifle, I recorded muzzle velocities which demonstrated the performance of a short 16-inch barrel. I tested some of my favorite .308 Winchester loads which range in weight from 120 to 185 grains.
