18 cze 2017 · Psalm 27 1 Meaning – The LORD is the strength of my life. David also confesses that the Lord is the strength of his life. The word strength in this verse often refers to a fortress or a similar stronghold. And David is inviting us to consider what a fortress is like.
With what a lively faith David triumphs in God, glories in his holy name, and in the interest he had in him. 1. The Lord is my light. David's subjects called him the light of Israel, 2 Sa. 21:17.

The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” The psalm is a prayer for help. It presumes the psalmist is in some type of trouble (verses 7, 9, 12).
