The Little League Baseball® program includes baseball divisions for all children, ages 4–16. The baseball divisions consist of the following: Tee Ball, Minor League, Major Division, Intermediate (50/70), Junior, and Senior Leagues.
Tee Ball 1 (4-5 year olds) This division is for players with little or no experience with baseball. This division is instructional and players will learn the concepts of hitting and advancing to 1st base. Players will hit off the tee for every at bat. MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT.
Tee Ball Softball is for girls 4-7 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching.
Tee-ball is the introductory level of baseball which focuses on learning basic fundamentals. Children are taught the basic skills of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, and running the bases. Players hit off a stationary tee and may move to coach pitching during the season as appropriate.
At the end of their season the Tee-Ball players will participate in a Tee-Ball tournament which is a single elimination tournament that lasts for approximately a week. The Tee-Ball Tournament Finals will be held on approximately the last Saturday in June.
