25 cze 2021 · I've seen a number of proof sets with the typical striking errors (grease, etc), as well as at least a few with clipped coins in them. Mint sets even more, although still pretty scarce. The premiums for "in the set" coins isn't huge since packaging can be opened, resealed, etc.
18 lut 2021 · Errors! Even though proof sets go through a quality control, they can still have errors. Proof set errors are usually more valuable than regular errors. Look out for proof coins missing the “S” mint mark. The 1952S Superbird Quarter is one of the more famous proof errors.
