The 1990 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 22–23, 1990, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York.

1990 NFL Draft. The 1990 NFL Draft was held on April 22-23, 1990. A total of 331 players were chosen over 12 rounds. The Indianapolis Colts chose Quarterback Jeff George from Illinois as the first pick in the draft. Future Hall of Famers Cortez Kennedy, Junior Seau, Emmitt Smith, LeRoy Butler and Shannon Sharpe were selected in this draft.
