Colt Model 1911-A1 U.S. Military 1944 Production Description: This Colt was produced in 1944. The pistol's serial number is 1680975. It is marked U.S. Property. It has the correct inspection stamps and factory stamps. The barrel is the correct Colt marked barrel. The bore is bright and clean. This pistol has the correct reinforced screw base grips.
Proper late-war Colt barrel, and 'R' marked magazine. The grips show minor handling wear but are in excellent condition. Bore is shiny with strong rifling, but has very minor frosting in the grooves. Comes with Colt factory letter, which states the pistol was shipped on November 9th of 1944.
