The Morgan dollar is a United States dollar coin minted from 1878 to 1904, in 1921, and beginning again in 2021 as a collectible. It was the first standard silver dollar minted since the passage of the Coinage Act of 1873, which ended the free coining of silver and the production of the previous design, the Seated Liberty dollar.
15 cze 2006 · The Pitted Reverses plus the Tailbar varieties would make a nice 1921P subset as probably the most prominent errors; the Thornheads and VAM-6A/6B are the obvious choice for 1921S. I wouldn't think of suggesting something other than Rob's ideas for 1921D's. I think the 1921 Top Ten would have to be a Top 25.

The standard weight of these coins was 412½ grains. The mintmark, if present, is found on the reverse below the wreath above the "DO" in dollar. These coins saw frequent circulation in El Salvador until they were withdrawn on September 3, 1892.
