10/40 WINDOW UPDATE: FROM MISSION FIELD TO MISSION FORCE. Luis Bush. THE 10/40 WINDOW. The 10/40 Window contains most of the unreached people groups in our world, and is still our primary mission field today. However, increasingly there is emerging a mission force out of this mission field.
This list serves as a guide for understanding where the Gospel is most needed, shedding light on the critical role of missions in these areas. Below we list all the nations in the 10/40 window of the world, organized by major regions.
Sending missionaries to assist indigenous ministries in the 10/40 Window. Additionally, we send missionaries to these areas to assist the local church. Our missionaries support and aid indigenous leadership to help them proclaim the gospel to the lost and to help build the Church.
16 kwi 2021 · The greatest concentration of those unreached people (97%!) live in an area called the “10/40 Window,” the geographic zone running from West Africa to East Asia that extends between 10 degrees and 40 degrees north latitude.
The revised 10/40 Window removes several Christianized countries such as South Korea and the Philippines and includes several additional countries, such as Indonesia, that are close to 10 or 40 degrees north latitude and have high concentrations of unreached peoples.

The 10/40 Window represents a rectangular region of the world, stretching from 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. This area encompasses over 60 countries, including parts of Asia and Africa, and holds special significance in missions.
