Your class gives you proficiency with certain types of armor. If you wear armor that you lack proficiency with, you have disadvantage on any ability check, saving throw, or Attack roll that involves Strength or Dexterity, and you can’t cast Spells.
Any creature that enters the area must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or stop moving and take 1 piercing damage. Until the creature regains at least 1 hit point, its walking speed is reduced by 10 feet.

17 paź 2023 · Armorer Artificer is my single favorite subclass in 5e from an optimization standpoint. While your damage will never be stellar, it can certainly be good enough and you make up for it by either being an objectively phenomenal Defender or a strong contender for best skill character and Scout in the game, easily rivaling the Ranger and the Rogue.
7 sty 2022 · Light armor works best for high Dexterity, Stealth-focused characters, like bards and warlocks. Medium armor is good for mid-to-low dexterity, semi-stealthy characters, and it doesn’t interfere with barbarian class-features, other than Unarmored Defense.
