Use a full scale ruler to measure a known measurement from an image on-screen. In the Calculate Scale dialog, enter this measurement into Measured Length and the actual full scale measurement into Full Scale Length. Hit Calculate Scale to calculate the scale.

13 kwi 2021 · If this happens, you may need to customize the scale in order for your PDF file to accurately reflect the measurements in use. To do so, you need to select File > Preferences > Measuring and use the Use Scale and Units From Document (When present) option.
Scale drawings, map scale, map distance, actual distance, writing a scale in ratio form, simplifying a scale, calculating the actual distance using a scale and calculating the scaled distance using the actual distance.
For example, you may be asked to convert a 1:500 site plan to a 1:100 floor plan, or a 1:100 elevation to a 1:10 detail. Sometimes the maths is easy enough. If not, I have created a simple “Drawing Scale Conversion Sheet” that allows you to simply and easily convert between scales.
