Upload photos. You can upload JPEG images from your computer to your personal library and albums on iCloud.com. Note: If you want to upload photos to your iCloud Shared Photo Library, use the Photos app on a device with iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, or later.
You can upload files from a computer to iCloud Drive. Files you upload are visible on any device that has iCloud Drive turned on. They appear in the Files app on your iPhone and iPad, and in the Finder on your Mac. You can also download files from iCloud Drive to copy them to your computer.
Make a softlink from your new iCloud folder to the traditional location on each computer. In Terminal.app, run. ln -s ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Downloads ~/Downloads. Check that macOS knows about the new location on each computer.
In Photos on your Mac, you can download the original photos stored in iCloud to your System Photo Library and then export them as files.
To upload files to OneDrive automatically, just save them in your OneDrive folder from an app, or move the files to your OneDrive folder using the Finder. If you installed the OneDrive app on other computers, the files will automatically be added to the OneDrive folders on them, too.
