20 lis 2022 · Saint brakes use Shimano's old style lever perch. XTs (as well as every other 4-pot brake in Shimano's line) employ Shimano's newer style perch. I am under the impression that lever internals are the same from one brake to another. Inasmuch as I'm a fan of the old style perch, I bought the Saints.
26 maj 2023 · I have and had Shimano and SRAM brakes at times I’ve had problems with both, but the SRAM brakes seem to be more stable and they are more logical to me. I now have the SRAM code, RSCS, G2, RSC‘s, and the Shimano 9120 XTR 4 piston brakes.

The shortest answer is that the Shimano Saint brakes feel far more powerful, and provide a greater increase in confidence and security on the trail than shifting from 2 to 4-pistons did.
