Our Gateway of Hope campus serves girls ages 13-17 who need a therapeutic environment to address emotional and behavioral issues. Our Oak Haven campus offers shared housing for four young women ages 18-21 who need assistance transitioning into adulthood from foster care.
Mercy Home never closes–children live here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In order to tailor the living experience to the needs of our kids as closely as possible, we operate several specialized, therapeutic residential programs under the umbrella of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.

Since 1957, The Women’s Home has worked to build whole lives in the Houston area. We currently have four unique programs: a residential treatment and transitional housing program, two permanent supportive housing programs, and a collaborative service center that offers support services to help prevent and end homelessness in our community.
We are the Houston chapter of Girl Up, a United Nations initiative dedicated to uplifting girls and youth of all gender identities to promote gender equity and youth-led advocacy for social justice. Open to anyone living in or around the Houston area!
