Weight restrictions at no extra charge vary by cabin. Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort+ and Delta Premium Select passengers should follow the standard 50 lb limit per piece. Delta One, First, and Business passengers should follow the 70 lb limit per piece.
18 mar 2024 · Checked bags can’t weigh more than 50 pounds (23 kilograms) for economy and 70 pounds (32 kilograms) for Delta One, first, or business class. The linear dimensions must be 62 inches (158 centimeters) or less. Many airlines refer to “maximum linear dimensions” when talking about baggage allowances.

Passengers traveling on Delta Connection flights with 50 seats or less are permitted to carry personal items onboard the aircraft. Due to limited overhead and under-seat space, larger items will be tagged with a pink Gate Claim/Planeside tag and loaded in the cargo bin.
Delta Airlines (DL) allows 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger fee free. Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions: 45 linear inches (22 x 14 x 9 in) or 115 centimeters (56 x 36 x 23 cm) including handles and wheels.
12 mar 2024 · Delta caps the weight for checked luggage at 50 pounds. If your bag weighs 51 to 70 pounds, that will cost you an extra $100 each way. Bags that weigh in at 71 pounds to 100 pounds will incur another $200 fee. And bags that weigh more than 100 pounds aren't allowed, period.
