19 wrz 2022 · I use a spreadsheet to keep track of distance and earnings across all gig apps, and have it setup to tell me useful stats like estimated gas expenses, hourly pay before and after gas, $/km, etc. For tracking the distance I just take a pic of my odometer before I start driving and after I stop.
Again, having a couple bucks added to the total cost should be a good move as again, this is probably best taken as a ballpark for fuel cost, not wear and tear. If you know your combined mpg now as it has changed, the option to change it is there too :)
Even if you're doing 80 for 2 hours straight, the time to get to the freeway and get off is going to drop that average down to 60. You're spending more than a work week in your car per month. Probably closer to an entire month per year in your car if you're doing 2500/month.

22 wrz 2021 · A weekend away can easily be 500 miles. Very quickly you get to 6K miles just on a trip once a month. I'd put 5-6K for your estimate. It’s just an estimate, it doesn’t have to be exact - based on your driving I would put 5000 and if you go over just let the insurance know.
