The school’s goal is to set a dress code that (1) creates an atmosphere conducive to diligent study, (2) teaches the student to look appealing, (3) affirms the God-ordained differences between men and women, (4) is easy for parents to obtain, and (5) is easy for teachers and staff to enforce.
Dresses, tops and blouses are required to cover the top of the shoulders (straps must be 3” wide) and the midriff. They must not be form fitting, low-cut, backless or have any slits.
This written dress code is to provide guidance to parents and students on the proper attire for our students. Student attire needs to be conservative, modest, neat, and appropriate; also it should not be a distraction, express an ungodly lifestyle, nor tempt others to stumble.

The standards for dress code at Community Christian School allow for a modest and uniform look to our student body. The requirements for 6th-12th grade students are more specific than for the lower grade levels.
