I could never find these in Canada and I would beg my parents daily for a TTO membership. When TTO was closed in 2013 I was old enough to get my first job, unfortunately I never got to get my own membership.
Sometimes if you logged in to TTO there was a very small chance a nonmember account would have member privileges unlocked incorrectly until they close the game. I don't know if some kind of check was missed, but I remember it triggering on numerous occasions.
