11 cze 2024 · The global economy is expected to stabilize for the first time in three years in 2024—but at a level that is weak by recent historical standards, according to the World Bank’s latest Global Economic Prospects report.
The IMF's global growth forecast for this year is unchanged at 3.2%, but it has lowered its projection for next year to 2.7%—0.2 percentage points lower than the July forecast. Despite the economic slowdown, inflation pressures are proving broader and more persistent than anticipated.
The global economy is showing signs of improving, but the recovery will be weak, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) says. Its latest Economic Outlook predicts global GDP will grow 2.7% in 2023, with a modest improvement of 2.9% in 2024.
