The Iowa Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) adjusts the rate of mileage reimbursement each year for travel by use of private auto. The per-mile rate is the rate allowed by the federal Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for the business standard mileage rate in effect on July 1 of each year.
