For greater intuition and comfort, MapSource includes an advanced search engine that makes it easy to find the address you need on the map you're viewing. You can also use the built-in zoom tools to find the desired point. The program downloads maps directly from the official website.
Measure great circle distances between points on a map. Create 2 or more icons to create a path, get the distance from each point to the next, and the total distance for the path. Tap the icons to show/hide the GPS coordinates. Use geocoding to find points of interest by name or by physical address. Road and Aerial views supported.

You can use this program to make Great Circle maps from any location in the world. The program has become quite popular and it is totally free! It is now in beta stage and may be lacking some features.
