This syllabus is based on the revised Science Curriculum Framework which encapsulates the thrust of Science education in Singapore to provide students with a strong foundation in Science for life, learning, citizenry, and work.
As part of the lower block Science, the Primary 4 Science syllabus covers the following topics: diversity, interactions, cycles, systems, and energy. For diversity, students learn about the diversity of living things, including plants and animals, and how they have adapted to different environments.
