The Medallion Status Match Challenge is a program designed to give you the opportunity to switch your airline loyalty to Delta. If you currently have elite status with another airline, we will give you the equivalent Medallion Status for three months – complimentary.
I started a status match in February from UA to DL. I just completed my flight that put me over the MQD threshold to retain Platinum status beyond my 3-month trial period. Two questions: Will I become a full Platinum member soon? Or do I have to wait until the status match 3 months officially ends?

24 sty 2024 · Specifically, you must earn 1,250 MQDs to extend your Silver Medallion status, 2,500 MQDs for Gold Medallion status and 3,750 MQDs for Platinum Medallion status. You can earn MQDs by flying on Delta-marketed flights or with one of the carrier's partners; however, basic economy fares do not count toward earning MQDs.
