  2. 7 maj 2024 · If you’re not feeling the extra driving, you could always hit up the Avenue of the Giants on your way to Mendocino or Muir Woods on your way back to San Francisco. You can also drive through a 315-foot redwood tree at Leggett’s Drive-Thru Tree Park (don’t forget to take a photo!) on the way back from Mendocino.

  3. Air Miles Calculator helps you calculate how many miles it is from one airport to another and provides a map, estimated flight time, time difference between cities, and estimated CO2 emissions.

  4. 3 cze 2024 · Discover the Chandelier Tree in Leggett, California—a spectacular drive-through redwood that combines natural beauty with unique history. Perfect for a memorable road trip stop!

  5. At the south end of “town,” a mile from the US-101/Hwy-1 junction along the old highway, stands one of the redwood region’s most venerable and worthwhile roadside attractions, the “original” Chandelier Drive-Thru Tree (daily dawn-dusk, $5).

  6. Three hours north of San Francisco, you can drive your car through this 300-foot-tall tree in California’s amazing redwoods.

  7. First time going through the drive-thru tree. The whole park is nice overall with walking trails. Entrance fee is $10. The tree itself is amazing and I still don’t know why they punch a hole thru to create this attraction. Good trails around the park itself.
