4 sty 2016 · The European long distance path E1 passes through seven european countries with a total length of about 8,000 km. It starts at North Cape in Norway and leads via Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland to Central Italy.
Distances, elevation differences and walking times can be determined for any desired stage. It is also possible to download gpx files for the hikes. Also plan your multi-day trips over the E1. The E1 starts at the North Cape and ends in Sicily.
The E1 European long-distance path, or just E1 path, is one of the European long-distance paths designated by the European Ramblers' Association. It has a total length of some 7,000 kilometres (4,300 mi).

The E1 starts its 8,000-kilometre journey south from the North Cape in Norway. In the northern part of the Scandinavian peninsula, it switches back and forth between Norway and Sweden. A short section also leads through Finland.
