6 mar 2022 · I always suggest testing speed via ethernet first (as inconvenient as it is) to get the real throughput number for your desktop. Then, test your wifi at the same location, 2.4 vs 5 Ghz bands....
Really unsure why my PC would have such poor scores compared to my phone. And that’s actually a good score, typically it’s at or below 10 Mbps. That test caps out at. A pretty low speed use https://www.speedtest.net/ On both devices.
I have a 200Mbps internet plan. Every other device in the house can reach these speeds consistently, but my PC seems to max out at around 85Mbps and I can't figure out why. Here are the main specs: R5 3600. RX 5700. ASUS Prime X570-P mobo. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
