You can use the Ruler tool (type "I", or "Shift-I" to toggle through until you've reached the Ruler tool) to plot a line between two points in the image. You should see measurements in pixels next to the tool details (below the menu items).

Is there a way to calculate the route distance by measuring a trace along the roads of a map using photoshop? Thanks. There is a Ruler tool (uses whatever units are selected on the rulers) on the Zoom tool flyout.
14 kwi 2021 · Now I want to RAPIDLY find out the distance in pixels between the two. I tried holding down control, but it only shows me the distances that I don't need. It doesn't show me the distance in pixels between the two selected objects.
Paste the map into a document. Draw a line on the scale that's 1km long, open the Document Info panel: https://imgur.com/SMZUOnl - you can see here that 1km = 185pt. Draw your path showing the hiking route: https://imgur.com/xQntTvp - this path is 752.17pt long. Your path distance is (752.17 / 185) km long, or 4.06km.
10 sie 2023 · With the Ruler tool active, a miniature ruler will appear on your cursor and you can click and drag from one point to another to measure between two points in the image. Hold down Shift while dragging to limit the line to angles in 45-degree increments.
