If multiple route prefixes match a packet destination, the route with the longest prefix length is preferred. If multiple matching routes exist with the same prefix length, then the route with the lower metric is used.

9 gru 2009 · As you can see, the magic happens in the two FOR loops and the ROUTE CHANGE command. The ECHOs and ROUTE PRINT commands just makes this a bit more informative. Personally I'd add a tracert command to the end to ensure it's working as I wanted. Enjoy.

To display the routing table on Windows, we can use route print or netstat -r command. The output of both commands is identical. However, the route command has command options to filter the output to show the routing table for IPv4 or IPv6 separately.
