U.S. Restrictions on Cuba Travel. On June 4, 2019, the U.S. Office of Foreign Asset Control announced new restrictions for travel to Cuba. This means Delta can no longer carry any customers to Cuba under the previously allowed “group people-to-people” travel authorization.
Unless otherwise noted, Delta will accept up to 2 standard checked bags per customer during embargo periods. The following restrictions apply to travel to/from the destinations listed below: Exception – Boxes are NOT permitted to/from Brazil, Mexico, and Chile at any time of the year.
