If you cancel, you®re eligible to receive 100% of your ticket value as a refund to your original form of payment. A Southwest flight credit from a previous reservation that is applied toward a Business Select or Anytime fare will be refunded as a flight credit.
If you cancel an unchanged reservation within 24 hours of booking, you can choose either to a) receive a method-of-payment refund (regardless of the fare) or b) hold the value of the ticket as a flight credit or Transferable Flight Credit ™ (depending on the fare) to buy a future flight.
