25 maj 2017 · I have a csv file with start and end postcodes (UK equivalent of US zipcodes) and would like to compute simple distance, road travel distance and travel time between the two. I guess the way to go would be to use Google maps in one way or another.
Distance results will be output in meters, kilometers, feet, yards and miles. Area will be output in meters², kilometers², feet², yards² and acres. See also our radius map calculator to measure any distance in a circle from your location.
You can calculate the length of a path, running route, fence, border, or the perimeter of any object that appears on a google map. The distance calculator will then display a measurement of the length in feet, meters, miles and kilometers.
Calculate Distance: Click the 'Calculate Distance' button to find the distance between the two locations. View Results: Check the results displayed under the button for the calculated distance. The map will automatically update to show both locations with markers, connected by a line.
Simply enter two postcodes and with a click, our tool calculates the direct, straight-line ("as the crow flies") distance, displaying results in both miles and kilometers. It's quick, accurate, and perfect for getting a clear understanding of the "as the crow flies" distance between locations.
To measure the distance between two points: On your computer, open Google Maps . Right-click on your starting point. Select Measure distance. To create a path to measure, click anywhere...
