I wanted to share that I recently had a very positive service experience with Continental Airlines. I used their website, phoned their reservations agent, and as a result, joined their air miles program. The site worked well, and was easy to understand and navigate.

I know people who wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, but I have always found the staff to be friendly and efficient, and more than once they have gone the extra mile for me.

Not in my experience... and a most surprising comment given that they won the 2010 award for best domestic business/1st class. One flight experience might provide a single opinion, but a valid assessment takes many many opinions.

Have flown with continental 3or4 times from glasgow to new york, never had any problem. try and get a seat on left of aircraft as it flies right down the full length of manhattan on landing.
