Film Mrtav ladan prati neobično putovanje braće Kize (Srđan Todorović) i Lemija (Nenad Jezdić), koji zbog nedostatka novca odlučuju prevesti djedovo tijelo iz Beograda u Vršac putničkim vlakom, nadajući se da nitko neće otkriti njihovu mrtvu pratnju.
