PRO3 is a spec racing class for BMW E30s in the Pacific Northwest. It is the intent of the PRO3 class to create a restrictive formula for BMW cars designed to emphasize driver ability rather than design and preparation of the car.
Lance started racing BMWs in 1999 after years of lapping days with the Puget Sound BMW Club. Lance’s PRO3 car is one of the first four BMW E30s that raced in the first PRO3 season after being converted from ITS specs. Lance has held the lap record for PRO3 twice at Pacific Raceways.

It’s almost three years in the making and culminates with the 20th Anniversary at Pacific Raceways in July 2022, where a record 49 PRO3 cars took the green flag.
30 wrz 2022 · PRO3 Racing wrapped up another successful year, and 2022 was the 20th Anniversary of the racing class conceived by Wes and Ken Hill, and then ably promoted by Lance Richert. The 20th Anniversary Celebration was officially celebrated the weekend of July 16th and 17th at Pacific Raceways.
