Go to the Download Page: Visit the software download page on the Rand McNally website. Select Your Operating System : Choose either Windows or Mac. Download the Installer : Click the download link and save the file to your computer.
After verifying your device is operating on the most recent software update, download the TNDT_Map_Update.zip file from the Rand McNally Website to your computer.
After verifying your device is operating on the most recent software update, download the RVT80_Map_Update.zip from www.randmcnally.com/RVT80update. Extract the downloaded zip file provided onto your PC. Open the RVT80_Map_Update folder and copy the following files from the folder to a new or formatted SD Card:
