A common problem in the iPhone 4S, sometimes the Wi-Fi button will be grayed out and unclickable. This problem seems to be related to thermal shock — the problem may be temporarily fixed by simply putting the phone in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, or under a lamp for 30 minutes.
23 kwi 2014 · My problem is that my iPhone 4s doesn't find any wifi. I've tried to reset the network and wifi. I opened it and saw if the antenna was connected (it was). I bought a new wifi and Bluetooth antenna and changed the old one, but it still doesn't work. I've no more idea.

27 wrz 2013 · Diagnostics showing several panics with a debugger message of "WDT timeout" or "panic" listing kernel_task as the panicked task. WiFi switch is disabled and set to "Off", can only be enabled by refridgerating the iPhone and rebooting (possibly needing to reset network settings).
23 maj 2013 · I cannot turn on the WiFi on my iPhone 4S. But every time I remove the back cover, the WiFi works. When I put the cover back on, within a couple of days the WiFi is greyed out again!
