The New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is a City of New York government agency. Its mission is to make city government work for all New Yorkers. It is responsible for: Recruiting, hiring, and training City employees. Managing 55 public buildings. Acquiring, selling, and leasing City property.
DCAS provides and manages personnel and equity and inclusion related services and programs for nearly 400,000 city employees across 80+ agencies. We provide guidance and enforcement on all civil service and equity and inclusion related services and policies through: Employee enrichment programs; Citywide civil service exams
