Favorite Answer: Simple, the questions asked are more and more trollish and the answers are of a similar nature. When I first came on here not only were the majority of questions actual requests for information but the answers were a factual response to the question.

Yahoo Answers is a great knowledge-sharing platform where 100M+ topics are discussed. Everyone learns or shares information via question-and-answer.
Yahoo! Answers is currently the biggest Q&A site on the internet. It is unlikely to go down soon, but given Yahoo! 's record of deleting sites ( Yahoo! Messages, Ask Yahoo! ), one would be better off using Answers.com or another Q&A site. Closed on 2021-05-04.
16 kwi 2021 · We archived Yahoo! Answers. Yahoo! Answers has been a staple of the internet for decades. On May 4th 2021, the popular site was shut down forever, taking 80+ million pages off the internet in the process. Quant attempted to take a full snapshot before that happened.
It is currently a work in progress and although it didn't pull anywhere near all of the Yahoo's out there, there are still a good 14k that you can look through on the website (answersarchive.com). If anyone has any comments or suggestions to make it better (other than making it look good) feel free to comment or PM me.
