You can request an upgrade on eligible paid and confirmed tickets on flights operated by Qantas, with a Qantas (QF) flight number on the ticket. From time to time, you can also request an upgrade on codeshare flights that have a QF flight number on your ticket and are operated by another carrier.

Bid Now Upgrades are available for selected Qantas flights. If your booking is eligible to receive a Bid Now Upgrade, you have the flexibility to make an upgrade offer of your choice using just cash, or if you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, a combination of cash and Qantas Points.
As long as there are seats available, you can change your seat request as many times as you like. You can do this by retrieving your booking through Manage Booking or the Qantas App up to 3 hours prior to your scheduled departure.
22 lip 2022 · Qantas aims its Bid Now Upgrades system at infrequent travellers and Qantas Frequent Flyer members who don’t have enough points in their account to submit an upgrade request under the traditional Classic Upgrade Rewards scheme.
To request an upgrade for one person only, call Qantas Contact Centres to split the booking before you request an upgrade. Please have your Frequent Flyer number, PIN and booking reference available when calling.
