Travelocity's service has been highly disappointing. Their website is cluttered and difficult to navigate, making the booking process unnecessarily complicated. Customer service is nearly impossible to reach, and when you do, representatives are unhelpful and often rude.

Travelocity is owned by Expedia, so at least you know it's legit. The cheaper the site (orbitz, priceline, etc.), though, the less flexibility you have (cancellation fees, modifications, etc.), and the more sacrifices you make, be it in travel time, departure time, stopovers, etc.
Travelocity has the absolute worst customer service of all time. Worth it to spend even a little more to NOT book with them. We had a flight ready to book, hit book, and their site said "unable to book try again in a few moments". We called in after trying and getting the same error.
