The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is one of the twelve faculties of the University of Szeged with an excellent international and national reputation. The faculty’s first Bachelors’ programme in English - training skilled professional economists - was first launched in 1999.
The programme aims to train business experts equipped with a wide knowledge of economic, sociological, business and applied economic theories and methods, who will be capable of planning, analysing, coordinating and organising business activities in economic organisations and institutions.
The Neptun registration procedure for Freshmen varies by Faculty. Certain Faculties organize joint Neptun registration during the orientation week where students take part in the process in person, others request the students to register to the system online even before their arrival to Szeged.
The aim of the course is to understand emerging business problems related to business planning, to learn about alternative planning concepts, and to develop proper skills to write and implement business plans by using various instruments of business planning.
Admission process. The next intake you can apply for is September 2024. Applications will be open between 05 January - 28 June 2024. Admission to the programme is on the basis of merit as determined by the scores obtained by the candidate in the admission test.
