Quest scenery. Pirate's Treasure. The chest inside the Blue Moon Inn can be opened with the chest key to obtain the Pirate message during the Pirate's Treasure quest. As the key dissolves upon opening the chest, it can normally be opened only once.
Open the chest in the south-west room for a pirate message. Read it. Go to Falador Park and stand on the east end of the pond, directly west of the statue of Saradomin, indicated by X on the ground. Right-click Dig using the pirate message. Kill the gardener.

Climb upstairs and you will find a golden chest at the west side of the floor. Use the key that Redbeard Frank has given you and open the golden chest to find a pirate message . Read the pirate message and go to Falador park.
