Fishing is a skill which involves catching fish from selected spots around Gielinor. Higher Fishing levels enable different mechanisms of Fishing, the ability to catch a larger selection of fish and increases a player's catch rate.

In this fishing training, we’ll start off with the fastest way to reach 99 and finish off with the most profitable way to reach 99 fishing. The primary portion of this guide will be aimed at P2P fishing methods but we’ve also added F2P fishing training methods to the bottom of this guide.
This can be done at Kylie Minnow's fishing platform in the Fishing Guild, which requires level 82 Fishing, a small fishing net, completion of the quest Fishing Contest, and having full angler's outfit to access.

You can fly fish trout at either Barbarian Village, Lumbridge, north of Seers' Village, or Shilo Village (Shilo Village quest required). Once you've reached level 30, you'll begin catching salmon and will begin to receive from 25k-36k experience per hour at levels below 70.
