I am flying on Sansa domestically within Costa Rica after flying in internationally, and I am trying to figure out what size of check in and carry on bags you can really fly with on Sansa Airlines. I started out by checking their website here: https://www.flysansa.com/travelinfo/baggage.
There are 3 fare classes with 3 different weight limits. Locos – 15 lbs baggage, Promo – 27 lbs baggage, Flex – 40 lbs baggage. Obviously the more you pay the bigger the allowance. For SANSA the limit is 30 lbs in all classes. Size limits depend on which airplane is being used but smaller is better.
In our upcoming trip to Costa Rica, we will adhere to the SANSA airlines baggage weight limitations, but their posted maximum carryon and checked bag dimensions are very small.
