25 mar 2024 · Looking to explore Yosemite with a bicycle? There are over 12 miles of paved bike paths available in Yosemite Valley (speed limit is 15 mph). In addition, bicyclists can ride on regular roads (if they obey traffic laws).
Yosemite Valley is flat, which makes for easy riding along our 12 miles of designated paths. All rental bikes are available first-come, first-served – reservations are only available for ADA bicycles (hand-crank bicycles, and tandem bicycles for visually impaired guests).
17 maj 2024 · Yosemite National Park has 13 popular campgrounds, all of which are on a reservation system from April through October. During winter, Camp 4, Wawona, and Hodgdon Meadow are first-come, first-served campgrounds, but can fill during holidays and weekends. Reservations are available at different times depending on the campground.

Take Highway 41 north from Fresno, Highway 140 east from Merced, or Highway 120 east from Manteca into Yosemite National Park. Crane Flat Campground is located 8 miles from the Big Oak Flat Entrance Station (Hwy 120 from the west), and is 17 miles (30 minutes) northwest of Yosemite Valley.
Yosemite Valley is only 7 miles around, from Mirror Lake to El Capitan Meadow, which is reasonable for most riders, young or old. (The only exception is the road leading to Mirror Lake, which climbs a hill detailed below.)
