  1. Rtx render distance. I don't know a massive amount of how things work on bedrock so I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to go in the files and manually up the render distance cap when using rtx to something higher than 24 chunks.

  2. Bedrock Edition [] In Bedrock Edition you can turn on the "View coordinates" switch in your game settings. This isn't a cheat, so doing this doesn't affect your ability to earn achievements, and it makes distance measuring quite easy.

  3. Simulation distance is a world-creation setting in Bedrock Edition that controls mob spawning and despawning, and tick updates. In Java Edition, simulation distance is a video setting related to render distance, to restrict tick update distance.

  6. GPU load measured with GPU-Z is under 10%. It hit a max peak of 49%, but it was probably a lag spike. I think the reason it lags when looking out into the distance is because MC10/PE doesn't build and render chunk meshes until it's necessary, i.e. when you look at them.

  7. Bedrock Realms are 12 chunks render (or less, depending on device) and 4 chunks sim. We know that players are interested in increasing these numbers and having them be configurable, and there are some interesting pieces of tech on the way that handle chunks differently and may allow improvements.
