Raids are modes that are significantly harder than Story Mode missions, and are designed to be played with up to 8 players. In World 2 they can be found in the Adventure building. Upon completion, they drop exclusive units or items for evolution.
Personally I just solo them, you just need to figure out how to play your cards correctly, basically spam all the main unit (dragon ball unit) and money until wave 4? Then just slow focus on 1 money upgrade and upgrading the unit till wave 11.
