31 mar 2024 · Once you’ve logged into your AAdvantage ® account, enter your flight search details in the “Book” box on the American Airlines homepage and check “Redeem miles.” Once the search results come up, you can further filter the search to select specific airlines. Redeem miles for non-flight awards.
On the payment screen, enter both the Card # and PIN # exactly as they appear on the back of the Gift Card. If the total price of the ticket exceeds the value of your Gift Card, you may use a credit card for any remaining balance.
Or you can check your balance by visiting the card issuer’s site and entering your card’s 16-digit number and security code.
