You can create routes from selected line features using the Make Route tool. In the Make Route pane, you can set the start point and endpoint and the starting and ending measures for the route.

8 maj 2024 · In ArcGIS Pro, a route can be created by connecting a pair of points representing the origin, and destination. In some cases, when there are many pairs of points in an attribute table, it is efficient to simultaneously generate routes for each pair using a network analysis method.
Create route layers. As a member of an organization with privileges to perform network analysis, you can use Map Viewer to get a set of turn-by-turn driving or walking directions and see the route on the map. You can set the travel mode, add multiple stops, and choose a departure time.
The typical workflow for creating a route is to: Define the origin, and stops, and destination. Define the type of travel for the route. Call the service to find the route features and directions. You can create simple or optimized routes using the routing service. A simple route is the shortest path between stops.
Creating routes using a tool. The following steps outline how you can create a new route feature class using the Create Routes geoprocessing tool. Click Geoprocessing > Search For Tools. Under System Toolboxes, click Linear Referencing Tools. Click the Create Routes tool.
